In May 2019 Guidance on The Transfer of The Critically Ill Adult was published and the standards within the guidance are implemented across the Network. The current guidance is available at:

Previously the Network used to provide Transfer Training under the oversight of the Transfer Audit Group. In 2023-24; the Network funded the use of private ambulance services to support transfer training.
Due to the development of the Adult Critical Care Co-ordination and Transfer Service (ACCOTS), this training is now delivered by ACCOTS.
