Quality improvement relates to designing and redesigning work processes and systems. Our workforce needs to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to intentionally bring about change and maintain continual improvement.
Improvement work underway at the EMSN is underpinned by Improvement Science. Training, education, mentorship and support is provided across the region from a Network team experienced in improvement methodology.
Member organisations are represented at the Network Quality and Service Improvement and the Education Groups (QSI & EG) which meets quarterly. Work is currently focussed on the development of standardised policies, pathways and procedures.
