Quality and Service Improvement Group
The Quality Service Improvement Group (QSIG) is an operational group, chaired by the Network QSI Lead [email protected], accountable to the Network Board via the Clinical Group for project management with innovations and improvements in critical care and service provision.
The Group responds to direction from the Network Clinical Group as well as local and national initiatives to support the provision of standardised evidence based practice for all patients across the Network. The Network has undertaken analysis against the national service specification for critical care (170118S) and has informed both commissioners and providers of gaps in service provision. The Network has identified a programme of work to address some of these gaps.
Membership of the Group comprises identified local QSI Leads, funded for one session a month by the EMCCN, with the expectation that at least one local service improvement project and one Network project will be completed and reported annually.
Minutes of meetings, agendas and Terms of Reference can be obtained from the Network Administrator [email protected]
