Audit
Monitoring and reporting are essential components of the Network ODN Governance Framework whereby the Network measures itself against the National Spinal Specification, GIRFT standards and other relevant national evidence based publications.
The Network has a governance mechanism in place in order to ascertain gaps in the service and support Network member organisations in action planning to achieve set standards. This includes the Network Self-Assessment Tool and Key Performance Indicator Benchmarking Audit. These documents are available on request from the Network Manager [email protected]
Research
The Network does not currently have a Research Strategy.
Individual member Trusts and clinicians are involved in research at different levels, including for example, national work around Cauda Equina Syndrome.
