Referral to ACCOTS
ACCOTS has moved to ReferaPatient for referrals. All patients whom require transfer should be referred via this platform. Capacity transfers will be responded by our co-ordinator on the platform and you will be contacted for additional information as required.
For time critical transfers – please call 0300 200 1100 immediately to make the co-ordinator aware of the potential transfer and complete the ReferaPatient referral at the earliest opportunity.
Many of you have shared concerns regarding training and maintenance of skills in your own staff and that of trainee’s. Please be assured ACCOTS will provide an excellent training platform once established, the service will offer rotational fellow posts and the opportunity for observer and supported shifts to ensure nursing competency is maintained. ACCOTS is a developing service so please do discuss with me any feedback or governance issues.
